Abby Oliver – Osteopath, M.ost
Abby has a Master’s degree from the European school of Osteopathy. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is passionate about tailoring treatment for the patient’s needs whilst also incorporating beneficial exercises and lifestyle choices. Abby’s main focus is on structure and function using techniques such as articulation, soft tissue work, manipulations and MET, but has also had experience using more subtle techniques such as Cranial, Balanced Ligamentous Tension (BLT) techniques and Fascial techniques which can be used on all patients including babies. She is also certified in Medical Acupuncture/Dry needling.
Abby is a keen sports woman participating in horse riding, running, netball and skiing it has given her a broad understanding about the demands that certain activities can cause on the body and plans to do further courses to increase her knowledge in rehabilitation and performance taping to help her patients further with injury prevention.
Abby also has a keen interest in equine osteopathy (view website) and completed her dissertation on the effectiveness of osteopathic treatment on a dressage horses stride length and plans to obtain further qualifications in equine osteopathy this year.
